A new future for Local Authority Leisure and Culture
The last couple of years have seen the sector begin to emerge from Covid and we looked to secure the future of public sport and leisure services. The last 12 months have not provided the recovery we had hoped with multiple issues continuing to impinge the ability to operate freely. Issues such as labour shortages and the energy crisis are presenting ongoing challenges for local authorities providing leisure and cultural facilities.
The APSE Central Region Event will explore how councils and organisation are meeting the current challenges and are delivering services that support the health and wellbeing of their communities.
There will also be the opportunity for delegates to network and connect with colleagues.
