Lendology CIC launches new website putting people at the heart with a streamlined customer journey

Lendology CIC launches new website putting people at the heart with a streamlined customer journey

South West based social enterprise lender Lendology CIC unveils a new website designed to simplify its online customer journey and improve access to home improvement loans for homeowners across the UK. With a growing network of local council partners and a wider variety of loan options than ever before, the new website reflects Lendology’s core belief that finance should be fair, accessible, and designed around real people.

Over the last 12 months, Lendology has welcomed new partnerships with Suffolk County Council, Cornwall County Council, the London Borough of Merton, and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. These additions mark an exciting shift in the organisation’s reach and reflect the increasing demand for innovative, council-backed finance solutions for everything from energy efficiency upgrades, disability adaptations to bringing empty properties back into use.

“As we grow, so do the needs of our customers,” said Louise Shewry, Marketing & Communications Lead at Lendology. “We’ve always been proud of our personalised, people-first approach to lending. But as our partnerships expand across the UK, our website had to evolve with us. This update isn’t just a new look, it’s a rethink of how people find the information they need. We’ve made it easier for customers to start their journey based on where they live and what they’re eligible for.”

Visitors are now prompted to select their council partner first, directing them to a dedicated page tailored to their local scheme. This ensures that customers only see the loan features, eligible works, and criteria relevant to them, making the application process clearer and more reassuring.

It’s not just homeowners benefitting either. The update also features a dedicated partner section, with messaging, information and functionality tailored for council and industry audiences. This clear split supports Lendology’s ambition to onboard more partners in the future while maintaining a frictionless customer experience for everyone.

Louise added:
"This refresh has been less about a full redesign and more about resetting our customer journey for the future. It allows us to grow sustainably while making sure that, whether you're a homeowner looking for support or a council partner exploring finance options, you’ll feel understood, valued, and supported."
