How can local authorities overcome the complex challenges of maintaining vibrant and sustainable parks, which reflect the needs of local communities and how best can Parks services be optimised within the new authority structure?

Understanding the assets, workforce and contracts you have within the new authority, aligning policy addressing climate adaptation and mitigation, BNG, plant biosecurity, play, commercial catering, tourism and community groups can be complex in time of business as usual, but reorganisation requires a recalibration of plans and strategies to cope with the changes. This new course will equip you will the skills to analyse, appraise and plan the most efficient and effective options for service delivery, within your locality. Working through both strategic and operational pathways, APSE provides a toolkit to support successful service integration, guided by highly experienced and expert trainers who will signpost to further resources and best practice.
