Join Us at the APSE Energy Summit 2025 – Glasgow, 21–22 October

APSE Energy is excited to welcome members to our Annual Summit, taking place in Glasgow on 21st and 22nd October 2025. This is a free two-day event for APSE Energy member authorities and provides a valuable opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and explore the latest developments across the energy, climate change, and sustainability agenda.

The Summit is designed for officers and councillors who want to stay informed on a fast-moving agenda. Through expert speakers, interactive discussion sessions, and contributions from our partners, we’ll cover a wide range of issues relevant to local government decarbonisation initiatives.

    Expect in-depth insights into:

    • Government policy and initiatives
    • Real-world case studies and examples of best practice
    • Market trends and innovations in the energy sector

The relaxed and informal format encourages open conversation, peer learning, and networking among delegates. It’s a chance to hear what’s working across the UK and to share your own experiences too.

    Free for APSE Energy Members

Each member local authority in Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland is entitled to two fully funded places, covering:

    • Attendance at the event
    • All meals during the event
    • Overnight accommodation on the night of 21st October

We recommend attendance by both an officer and a councillor, though the final choice is yours.

Whether you’re working directly on energy and climate issues or supporting related services, the Summit offers practical learning, policy insight, and a chance to engage with colleagues across the sector.
