The last few years has reinforced the importance of prioritising wellbeing at work. Investing in your own and your colleague's wellbeing will lead to better engagement, increased resilience, improved performance and enhanced productivity. We have to bring wellbeing initiatives into core operational strategy as investing in our people means investing in our future.
This highly interactive course will enable participants to identify and mitigate workplace stressors, equipping learners with a toolkit to start conversations about improving mental health & wellbeing for colleagues across an authority.
Learning Outcomes:
- Examine the relationship between mental health and wellbeing
- Develop strategies to proactively manage your own wellbeing
- Understand the impact of a range of factors on job satisfaction and performance
- Apply knowledge towards action(s) that will positively impact wellbeing for yourself & colleagues

Duration
This course is offered as a full day or as two half days.
Full Day: 09.30 – 16.30
Morning sessions: 9.30 – 12.30
Afternoon Sessions: 13.00 – 16.00
How do I access it?
This course will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. To access it, you will need a WiFi connection or mobile data hotspot. Downloading Microsoft Teams to your laptop, desktop or smart device will give a better performance and greater functionality throughout the day. This highly interactive training includes a mixture of presentations, video conferencing, group work, games, quizzes and video.
