Fiona oversees APSE’s training arm, developing and designing training to enrich the knowledge and skills which underpin modern, flexible local government. On a personal and professional level, Fiona is committed to supporting authorities with their approaches to tackling climate change. As well as being an experienced trainer and facilitator, with nearly 30 years’ experience of working across the public sector, Fiona has managed a range of projects, programmes and services. In recent years, Fiona’s work has centered on collaborative leadership and insight and intelligence. Fiona is qualified in Prince2 and MSP (Managing Successful Programmes). She has a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration (DMS) from Leeds Business School, a PGCE in Secondary Education from Edge Hill University and a BA (Hons) in Communication Arts from the University of Huddersfield.
